SKYNA FAQ
Common questions from clients across Qatar's industries — from oil & gas operators and government agencies to property managers and construction firms. If your question isn't answered here, reach out and we'll respond within one business day.
Yes. All SKYNA pilots are licensed by Qatar's Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA) and trained to operate in the country's most demanding environments — from oil & gas facilities to high-rise glass curtain walls. Every flight is conducted under approved operational protocols and full risk assessments.
Drone cleaning is faster, safer, and more cost-effective than scaffolding, cradles, or rope-access teams. A high-rise façade that traditionally takes a week of access setup can be cleaned by SKYNA in a fraction of the time, with no workers at height and minimal disruption to building occupants.
SKYNA serves a wide range of surfaces: glass façades, residential and commercial buildings, mosques and heritage sites, solar farms, school campuses, stadiums, industrial facilities, canopies, and tarpaulin/membrane structures. If it's exterior and hard to reach, we can likely service it.
Yes. Our drones are operated by licensed pilots with full risk assessments, redundant flight controls, and pre-cleared flight plans. Removing workers from height is itself one of the biggest safety wins — falls from height remain among the leading causes of workplace fatalities globally, and drone cleaning eliminates that exposure entirely.
Our cleaning approach uses purified water in pressure and soft-wash modes, eliminating the need for harsh chemicals on most surfaces. Compared to traditional cleaning methods, this means less water consumption, no chemical runoff, and a significantly lower environmental footprint.
Yes. For mosques, museums, stone façades, and other sensitive assets, we use low-pressure soft-wash modes designed to remove dirt and biological growth without damaging the surface. Each project includes a surface assessment before any cleaning begins.
Project duration depends on the size and condition of the asset. As a guideline, most mid-rise façades and small commercial buildings can be cleaned in a single day, while larger industrial sites and stadiums may require multi-day mobilizations. We provide a clear timeline as part of every quotation.
Yes. SKYNA carries full operational insurance covering aviation liability and on-site work. Specific coverage details are shared with clients during the proposal stage and can be tailored where contracts require additional limits.
Pressure washing uses high-pressure water to remove tough buildup from durable surfaces like concrete, metal, and industrial assets. Soft washing uses lower pressure paired with appropriate cleaning agents — designed for glass, painted surfaces, heritage stone, and other sensitive materials. We select the right method based on the surface and condition.
Use the contact form on our website or reach out directly. For most projects, we conduct a free site walkthrough before quoting — this lets us understand access constraints, surface conditions, and your operational needs so the proposal reflects real scope, not estimates.
